IPAS Graduate Endows Adam Abubaker Memorial Lecture and changes pain management training to combat opioid crisis in honor of late son

Omar Abubaker, DMD, PhD, a graduate of the IPAS Intermediate Certificate Programme in Addiction Studies and Chair of the Department of Oral and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the VCU Health Centers, has taken on a mission to change medical and dental training in pain management and increase knowledge about opioid use and opioid overdose.. His goal: to combat the opioid crisis.
