The tuition fee for students will be $900 US dollars per credit. This translates to $10,800 US dollars for the Intermediate Certificate (12-credits), $21,600 US dollars for the Advanced Certificate (24 credits) and $32,400 US dollars for the Master’s programme (36 credits).
Part-time students in the both the MS and Advanced Certificate Programs are generally registered for 8 credits in both the Fall and Spring semesters of their first year. At the current tuition rates ($900 per credit), this totals $7,200 each semester for a total first year tuition of $14,400. In their second year, part-time MS students are registered for 10 credits per term. At the current tuition rates, this totals $9,000 per semester, for a total second year tuition of $18,000. Students in the Advanced Certificate Program are usually registered for one 4-credit class per term in each semester of their second year. ($3,600 per term) Students in the Intermediate Certificate Program are registered for one four-credit course in in each of three terms, at $3,600 per course.
Full-time Master’s students will be registered for 18 credits in both the Fall and Spring semesters and will owe half of their total tuition at the beginning of each semester ($16,200 per term). Each year, up to $15,000 in scholarships are available for exceptional applicants through the Robert L. Balster Scholarship fund. Additional funds up to $2500.00 may be available through the VCU Graduate School. Addition scholarship and aid information can be found here.
Yes, the programme is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis. We do not recommend that students attempt to take the full-time programme while working full time because of the heavy course load.
No, there are no practical components in the IPAS program, so you will not be trained to gain any counseling or medical skills. However, courses in the program can be applied toward academic requirements for licensure.

No, there is no on-campus attendance required for any part of this programme. All lectures and materials will be made available online and exams will be arranged near you.
Currently, all exams are open book written examinations assessing your ability to apply material learned in the course.
Yes. You will receive one parchment (what we in the US refer to as a diploma) after you have graduated. This will bear the symbols of all three universities, as well as the signature of officials from all participating schools.
No, you will not need a visa since you do not have to attend any lectures or exams at any of the participating universities. Therefore, this course will not give you grounds to apply for a student visa for any of the three countries.
To ensure maximum benefit from academic study at VCU, students must provide evidence of English language proficiency before enrollment.
Completion of a Bachelor's degree (or higher) at a college or university in any of the following countries establishes proficiency, and no further testing is required:

To enter this programme you will need a bachelor level qualification (usually 4 years of full-time undergraduate study, or three years with an Honours project). Students with a three-year Bachelors and experience in a related field will considered. You can always contact us to discuss your experience and qualifications. No, all students take the same courses and topics at the same time. Online learning offers flexibility in when you study during the week (at night, during weekend), but you will need to study 15-20 hours a week for the part-time programme and 30-40 hours a week for the full-time programme.
