Students interested in applying for the academic year beginning August 2024 will can submit their applications via the Virginia Commonwealth University Admissions Portal now.   Applications submitted through the VCU portal are shared with and reviewed by King's College London and the University of Adelaide faculty.  No separate application to these universities is required.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION:  Please read the following instructions before proceeding to the application portal.  When available, the link can be found at the bottom of this page.

Application deadlines for August 2024 entry:   To allow for orientation and timely entry into classes, submission by July 15, 2024 is strongly recommended, although the final date for consideration is August 1, 2024

Important information related to in-state tuition for Virginia residents:  Due to the nature of the international collaboration under which these programmes operate, in-state tuition rates are not available.  If you select your status as not eligible for in-state tuition you will be able to  avoid a, non-applicable, detailed section of the application which requires you to upload in-state tuition supporting documentation.

Important information for international students:  Because you will not be coming to the United States to pursue your degree, you do not need to upload visa forms or immigration information.  You should fill out other information, including TOEFL or IELTS scores if applicable.

You will need to upload your official English-language university transcript before your application can be considered.  If you cannot obtain an English-language version, you can submit an official and verified translation of your transcript (mark sheet). You also must upload a scanned copy or picture of your official diploma from any university from which you have received a degree.

Once admitted all students will be required to submit an original official hard copy of their English-language transcript, which must be received before the end of your first semester.  Official transcripts must be sent directly to VCU from the university or received in an envelope that is sealed and has not been opened by the applicant.

All applicants:  The IPAS Program is housed in the School of Medicine at VCU.  You will need to know this in order to easily access the correct application materials within the admissions portal.

We look forward to receiving your application!
