IPAS programme librarians on three continents create “Virtual Library” and resource guide as model of international collaboration.Date Released: 18 May 2016
Librarians at VCU, King’s College London, and the University of Adelaide, supported by QUEST grant funding from VCU, have created a unique single portal to support the research and information literacy of IPAS students and others interested in evidence-based information about addiction. Dubbed the IPAS International Library, this portal allows IPAS attendees to access online resources from the library systems at each of the participating universities supporting the MS in Addiction Studies. For those not enrolled in IPAS, the site also offers an organized, curated platform for accessing open-access materials related to drug use, addiction, and evidence-based science.
